Join CAI at this unique one-of-a-kind training session! Scenario-based vignettes of real, live situations that you encounter regularly in the condo and co-op world will be presented by professional improv performers. These structured improvisations will be used as a learning opportunity for managers, staff and even homeowners on the personal interactions that often define, and escalate, conflicts.

This is not a boring seminar or lecture. How best can we explain it? Its Condo LIVE!

This year, we'll explore the following scenarios: 

Scenario 1: Staff / Resident Altercation
Meredith is an older resident at Bryndahocken Estates; Steve is the manager and Peter is the president of the board. Watch the growing disagreement between the manager and board over an altercation between Meredith and a long time employee of the association.

 Scenario 2: Privacy Boundaries
Bachelor Ralph is in his 70s and owns a penthouse unit at Freedom Tower, where he comes and goes with Suzy, his 20 something female companion. Observe how Brad, the front desk staff, gets into hot water by making poor assumptions. 

 Scenario 3: Manager / Board Dynamics 
Cynthia is board member at Conshagomingo Junction Condo. Kevin is a landscaper who has bid on a contract, and is Cynthia’s nephew. Witness the interactions between the manager and board member in this "conflict of interest" scenario.

Unlike other improv-based training programs, we do not make you role play!  We do the acting, and you do the problem solving.

This course is approved by the Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB) to fulfill continuing education requirements for the CMCA® certification.  This course will earn managers  (2) continuing education credit hour, which also help satisfy the requirements to apply for the PCAM designation.
