House Bill 595 is now the law of our land (Act 17 of 2018). It gives unhappy owners the right to get the Office of the Attorney General involved in certain complaints against a community association unless “an alternative dispute resolution [ADR] procedure is available to the owner.” ADR makes good sense, but what does “having ADR” mean? In this one-hour "Do It Yourself" program, you will learn what you need to know about ADR and leave with an ADR procedure that you can recommend to your community association that should satisfy the new law.
Speaker: Tobey Oxholm, Just Resolutions ADR
