Central PA: Best Practices Stormwater Management

Tuesday, June 18, 2019
08:30 AM - 11:00 AM (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)

Stormwater management is often a challenging and complicated topic for community associations. Stormwater runoff is generated from rain and snowmelt events that flow over land or impervious surfaces, such as paved streets, parking lots, and building rooftops. Effective use of Best Management Practices for stormwater control can help achieve the following:

  • protection of wetlands and aquatic ecosystems
  • improved quality of receiving waterbodies
  • conservation of water resources
  • protection of public health
  • flood control

This session will review best practices and changes that you need to be aware of when it comes to managing stormwater facilities in your community associations
