Session 1: Preparing for Summer Recreation: A Case Study in Pandemic Procedures
Preparing your amenities and summer recreation programs for opening amid continuing Covid-19 restrictions will once again prove to be a challenge. This session will be a case study on how Hemlock Farms Community Association safely opened and operated amenities and summer recreation during the Summer of 2020 and will present lessons learned and strategies on how your community can do the same as the global pandemic begins to wane.

Session 2: HR: Preparing for a Post Covid Workplace
This timely session will review changes in employee law and practices since the onset of the pandemic, and will include best practices for employees who are now working from home. Topics include:
- Preparing for a post COVID-19 workplace (including OSHA compliance, temperature taking, on-going safety concerns and considerations)
- Employer considerations for remote and alternative work arrangements
- What employers need to know about Flu shots and COVID-19 vaccinations
- Assumption of risk and waiver of liability relating to COVID-19
- Current status (at the time of the presentation) of COVID-19 related laws, such as the FFCRA and CARES Act.

11:00 to 12:00 AM Closing Session: Preparing for an Active Shooter
"It won't happen here." How many times have you heard this from survivors on the news? Fact is, it very well may happen here, so it makes sense to be prepared. This training session will provide you with the knowledge and skills to ensure survival and minimize the loss of life in the event of an aggressive intruder. This session will empower your staff to participate in their own survival and lead others to safety.
