Join the Pocono Mountains Regional Council for the annual Pocono Managers Symposium. Enjoy three educational sessions designed to help you better manage your staff and community association.
Session 1: Pandemic Fatigue: Learn to Manage the Anxiety and Stress
Pandemic fatigue is a serious mental health concern as we see COVID-19 drag on, and cases rising in Pennsylvania and the country. This session from Preferred EAP, the behavioral health provider aligned with Populytics Inc. and Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), offers insight, resources, and relief. You’ll learn why our current situation is causing so much stress, 10 signs of pandemic fatigue, and real-life tools and cognitive approaches for restoring balance.
Presenters: Ken Davis and Carolyn Lamparella, Univest Insurance LLC
Session 2: Dealing with Nuisances in Your Community Association
When a board member or community manager hears the phrase “nuisance”, many thoughts come to mind regarding what this means, and how it may impact their association, but, more often than not, most do not know what a nuisance really is and what the association may need to do to deal with a nuisance. The goal of this seminar is to properly educate association managers and board members on nuisance principles and discuss the real-word application to community associations.
