CAI's Summer Picnic was a Blast!

August 2, 2018 09:02 AM

Over 100 members came out to Mermaid Lake in Blue Bell, PA for an old-fashioned summer picnic! The picnic was generously sponsored by Associa Mid-Atlantic, AAMC, FirstService Residential, AAMC, The Falcon Group. KPI2 Contractors, Legacy Services, NFP Barlow, Smith Insurance Associates and Steven L. Sugarman & Associates.

Picnic guests enjoyed a full barbecue  dinner, including beverages sponsored by  Bustamante Engineers, National Contractors  and Union Bank. In addition to  the barbecue, guests enjoyed water ice  sponsored by Condominium Legal Liability,  funnel cake sponsored by BQ Basements,  and entertaining carnival games for the kids  sponsored by Shearon Environmental and  Sav-A-Tree!Cornhole_pic

Twelve teams participated in the ServPro-sponsored Cornhole Tournament. The tournament winners were the team of Stefan Richter and Josephine Lee from Clemons, Richter & Reiss. Stefan and Josephine each won a set of cornhole boards to practice on, so they can defend their title at next summer’s picnic!

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Dunk Tank! Sponsored by Kipcon and Mark1 Restoration, the dunk tank raised close to $400 for CAI's Pennsylvania Legislative Action Committee as dozens of members lined up for their chance to dunk the bravest of CAI members! Dunkees included Stefan Richter, Andy Sytnik with FirstService Residential, Charles Schofield with BQ Basements, Jannene Miller from Mark1 Restoration, and Kipcon’s Mitch Frumkin, whose dunk tank antics were entertaining, to say the least!

Special thanks to everyone who came out for this fun summer evening. We hope to see an even bigger crowd next summer!
