Sleep Out is an annual event hosted by Covenant House raise awareness and funds to support the 4.2 million homeless youth in the United States. Money raised goes towards providing shelter and opportunity to these homeless children and to unite the community against homelessness and child trafficking.
For over forty years, Covenant House has helped transformed the lives of more than a million homeless, runaway, and trafficked young people. They offer housing and support services to at-risk and in-need youth - reaching 80,000 boys and girls every year.
As of October 17, 2019, the CAI team has raised nearly $10,000 to support this important cause. In addition, CAMCO fields their own Sleep Out team and has raised another $6,500.
